Braj Ki Holi Geet

In Braj mandal, areas comprising of present day Mathura, Vrindaban, Gokul and Barsana in the state of Uttar Pradesh, Holi, the festival is colours is celebrated in the most unique and exotic way. Popularly known as braj ki holi, this place holds the root of the festival which is connected to birth of Vishnu here, in the form of Krishna. Holi songs are sung in braj bhasha by the locals praising various episodes of Krishna and Radha.
